2024 Schedule of Performances and Art Actions
While every shanty is open during all public hours (Saturdays & Sundays, 10am – 4pm), the Performances + Art Actions pop up at different times throughout the village: at the Performance Stage, at specific shanties, interspersed between shanties, roving, or at expansive spaces like the Town Square and Ice Field.

PROGRAM UPDATE AS OF 1/19/24
Art Shanty Projects was scheduled to launch our 20th Anniversary season on January 20 on the frozen water of Bdé Umáŋ / Lake Harriet in South Minneapolis. As of Thursday, January 11 there was still open water on the lake but incoming subzero temperatures gave the possibility of a deep freeze. Construction to essential park infrastructure remains incomplete, impacting our back of house / event operations space and public accessibility. Due to these two factors combined we have postponed our opening date to January 27th. The program will end as scheduled, on February 11 with no extension.
WE WILL BE ON ICE starting January 27!
