Wearable ArtCars & Contraptions Parade

This weekly parade around the Art Shanty Village features a convoy of regional artists wearing whimsical handcrafted outfits—ArtCars and contraptions—made from recycled and repurposed materials. In addition to many of the colorful creations that debuted last year, this year’s parade will feature wearable contraptions produced by youth and students from the Twin Cities. And once again, anyone can make an outfit to bring and join in or borrow one of the outfits available on site!
