Artists: Designed and constructed by students at the University of Minnesota School of Architecture. Remodeled and staffed by the board members of Art Shanty Projects.
Just behind the entrance gate is The Welcome Shanty. At this information hub you can get a map, make donations with credit cards, join our membership program, buy merchandise, and chat with board and staff about all things shanty. The Welcome Shanty also serves as: the meeting point for ASL interpreters and audio describers, the locus for lost & found items, and the home of a first aid kit.
