From upbeat dance to chaotic ambient sounds, participants will play alongside a musician within the shanty to create an interactive electronic music experience completely powered and controlled by the sun. Shanty-goers will change the amount of sunlight falling on photoreceptors connected to a modular synthesizer. The sunlight will change the music coming from the shanty. This Shanty will be constructed using passive solar heating designs and the synthesizer and speakers will be solar powered. ACCESSIBILITY NOTE: Various music levels, occasionally loud
