Circulating Nest

A violinist, their eyes focused on the bow, pulls it across the strings near their chin. The shadows from different lights cast warm and cool colors across their face and arms.
In a corner of a dimly lit theater, a band plays in pale lavender light. They look almost like mannequins in a store after hours, still, strange, and posed.

During the day, Circulating Nest is a temporary tent installation. As sunset approaches, we move to the interior of the tent and activate it with improvised folk music.
