Linden Hills Neighborhood Shanty

A few people stand, studying the yellow Linden Hills Neighborhood Shanty, in front of the Lake Harriet Bandshell. The yellow shanty is open and airy, and historic photographs of the neighborhood are hung on the open walls.

Artists: Linden Hills Neighborhood Council, Eric Hansen, Ed Bell, Christy Prediger, Tippy Madden, Mike Knutson and Chuck Sullivan Welcome to Linden Hills! Inspired by the Como-Harriet Streetcar, our shanty displays historic photos of the neighborhood and serves as a grounding space in the shanty village Town Square. It was designed and constructed by community members.
