Artists: Designed and constructed by students at the University of Minnesota School of Architecture. Remodeled and staffed by the board members of Art Shanty Projects.
Just behind the entrance gate is the Welcome Shanty. At this information hub you can get a map, make donations with credit cards or your phone, join our membership program, buy swag, and chat with board members about all things shanty. The Welcome Shanty also serves as: the meeting point for ASL interpreters and audio describers (on SUNDAYS 11am-2pm), the locus for lost & found items, and the home of a first aid kit.
