ICE OUT!

ICE OUT!

We are horrified by the illegal, monstrous actions of ICE agents in our beloved city and beyond. Our hearts are with our Minneapolis community as we mourn the loss of Renee Good, a fellow artist.

We are feeling the dissonance of the joyful community experience we host in contrast to this tragedy and the continued ICE actions that are terrorizing our neighbors as we prepare to open our public art program on Saturday.

The heart of our mission is to connect people with friends and strangers in challenging conditions (winter or otherwise). We firmly believe that art is never neutral, connection is an act of resistance, and gathering is community care.

We are very fortunate to foster an incredibly loving and kind, aware and engaged community of artists and organizers, and we find our role in this moment to be offering nourishment –  a space to gather and see each other. We are here for you. We stand with you. Amongst our artists, performers, staff, board, volunteers and visitors we hope to be a place to build solidarity.

Keep getting out there and making some noise!

XOXO,
