Atlachinolli (Fire & Water)

Artists: Electric Machete Studio artists Rebekah Crisanta de Ybarra, Reynaldo Lara, Xilam Balam Atlachinolli (translation WaterFire) is an indigenous concept of central Mexico, which speaks to the urgent battle against extreme weather changes and for the protection of our freshwaters, such as Bde Unma/Lake Harriet. A sculptural performance space led by Latinx Indigenous art & music collective EMS, curated several performances centered around an ice pyramid, including Lady Xok, Las Luchadoras feminist punk collective, and more. #EMSarts
