Jesús Li (he/him/his) – a past shanty artist – is an interdisciplinary Peruvian graphic designer, teacher, and visual artist based in Minnesota. His work is distinguished by its vibrant and dynamic use of colors, which capture movement and energy, and his exploration of cultural identities through visual language, including icons, typography families, moving images, and animation. Jesus’ creative practice reflects a playful and energetic approach. It embodies fun visual narratives that offer visceral messaging to its viewers.
