OPM’S WINTER PLEIN AIR PAINTERS

Winter plein air painters are back in 2025 in the precious hope for more punishing cold that we experienced in ’24, the better to paint outside atop that great blank canvas of frozen lake. Cold hand and feet can’t stop us from trying to capture the atmosphere, color, light, and energy of the Art Shanty village and its people and commotion. We’ll bring our Berton Boxes so visitors can experiment with art materials that don’t freeze and display the results on our zip line art gallery.
