What happened on the ice this year:
January 19th Saturady
Opening day
11 am - 3pm Captain Yonder
1 pm and 3 pm Bicicle Race on Ice
Dane of the Ice Museum won the first heat. Gabe of the B-Icicle Race one the second.
2 pm Frozen presented by Black Box Theatre
Soozin's Skeleton car was stolen Saturday morning from in front of the MayDay Cafe
January 20 th Sunday
It was -17 at 8 am the wind was not that much of a factor.
12 pm 1:30 pm and 2:30 pm Tallisman Squires Washington and friends Black Box Shanty
Talli did not show up. Was too cold. Soozin's car was spotted at 38th and 16th with a flat tire by Julian of the Giant Robot. So it was recovered, but by the Minneapolis Police who have now impounded it to get thier 20 shilling.
Lunch time: Soup Kitchen put on by Shanty of Misfit Toys
David from the Abandoned Antarctic Shanty re-simulcast the AFC football game when K-ICE computers went down.

Baby/Kid Clothing Exchange - Bring, take or trade some clothes that will hang on an outdoor clothesline
Animal Hunt - We hide stuffed animals in shanties throughout thevillage and visitors move them from shanty to shanty for hours of free fun
Badminton Tourney - Knock the "Birdie" around on the ice
Go-Fish and Scrabble Tournaments - We're always up for a mean game or two
Storytime - Ask us to read you a story, or read one to us.
Book Drive- bring infant, toddler and preschool books (gently used). After the project, we'll deliver them to children in need
in Miami and Minneapolis.

Prepare to be amazed and amused as a cast of intricate
marionettes show off their talents in this eclectic showcase of miniature dances and dramas. See the penguin on the flying trapeze, the chorus of line dancing eggs, and many more surprises.
